A workshop for anyone passionate about photography –beginners and beyond! October 8-10 (2 ½ days) Leelanau School, Sleeping Bear Dunes This one-of-kind workshop offers a unique opportunity to expand your technical knowledge and inspire your creativity with educational seminars, in-the-field training and immediate feedback with our unique critiques. We’ve got it all and in a beautiful northern Michigan setting! Lake Michigan shorelines, winding rivers, and boreal forest are the backdrop at Sleeping Bear Dunes. We’ll walk the Lake Michigan shoreline, composing dramatic landscapes and turn our cameras west to capture spectacular sunsets. In addition we may photograph Point Betsie Lighthouse, the D. H. Day Barn and the historic farmsteads of the Port Oneida District as well as other locations.

This one-of-kind workshop offers a unique opportunity to expand your technical knowledge and inspire your creativity with educational seminars, in-the-field training and immediate feedback with our unique critiques. On cool mornings, we’ll explore wet meadows to photograph dewy dragonflies, butterflies and wildflowers. In the evenings, we’ll walk the shoreline, composing dramatic landscapes and turn our cameras west to capture spectacular sunsets. We take our field trips at a leisurely pace so there is time to relax and enjoy our beautiful surroundings.
